Summer shorts

Summer: the hottest, most playful, and my favourite season...what to wear for a relaxed casual summers day? Shorts are always a good bet, but want to avoid the boring plain old shorts and t-shirt combo? Opt for a fun patterned pair of shorts and dress it up with cool tops.

Here are a cool pair of Zara shorts matched with a New Look t-shirt and lace waist coat.

Here a flowery pair of blue shorts were matched with a yellow vintage waist coat to avoid the plain t-shirt combo.

Vintage Italian wedding dress

This is one of my favourite ever garments....this was my mother's wedding dress which is hand made from Italian lace. It's so angelic and really special, not to mention absolutely stunning.

Playful playsuit: vintage jumpsuit

How could you not love this jumpsuit, it's interesting to say the least! It's another flattering suit to lengthen your legs and is dressed with  so many patterns and colours that it's simply fantastic.

Summer stroll: Vintage Jumpsuit

Don't you just love jumpsuits? I do! They are elegant yet fun and give such dramatic length and shape to a body for a beautiful elongating and slender silhouette. This is one of my favourite jumpsuits, a vintage piece from the 80's. I styled this outfit for an early morning stroll on the beach at sunrise- it's a beautiful summer wear.

The polka dot print is really cute and pretty to give a sweet and feminine look for the jumpsuit. I really love this neckline and collar too, it's classy but not too formal and gives a beautiful shape, the halterneck top lengthens the body to give the illusion of a modelsque height to even the petitest models!

I love this belt too, it pulls in the garment at the waist to give that womanly hourglass shape and shows of a slim waist. And what I love most is that the belt is made of the same fabric and print so it doesn't cut the length of the body and blends perfectly.
