Couture Week: Paris 2011

I've been scanning all the photos from this season's Paris Couture week so far, and I have a lot to mention! If I uploaded all the pictures I liked my blog would be totally full, but tap in to www.vogue.co.uk or www.style.com to see all the pictures!

I have to say first of all, I was most blown away by Jean Paul Gaultier- the collection is incredible beyond belief!!! Among my other favourites were Elie Saab, Alexis Mabille, and Valentino.

I also loved Giorgio Armani Prive', Giambattista Valli (it was his first couture collection, and wonderful nevertheless)  and Givenchy.

However I have to say I wasn't the biggest fan of Chanel's collection- perhaps i will be slaughtered for saying this but I just thought the other designers were in a better class this season...it was typical Chanel with a somber twist which is supposed to come across as seductive but personally I thought it was a little bland and i wasn't too enthusiastic for the body shapes and silhouettes it created.

However, I suggest to any fashion fans to check out all the shows yourselves as they are well worth watching!! There have been some icnredible turnouts this year!
