Burberry campaign autumn/winter 2011-12

Milly Simmonds, the new face in this season's Burberry campaigns, who first stepped out on the catwalk last season in 9 shows for names like Mulberry and Burberry, spoke happily about being the new face of the British luxury fashion house, Burberry, and told Vogue UK last season that her dream job would always be to star in a campaign for Burberry.  Although the shoot wasn't as glamorous as it looks in the campaign photos (which does look very glamorous), the young model suffered from a hot flash and had to be sat down and rested with a fan before she could carry on shooting in the winter garments. After her runway shows last season Vogue named her the most versatile model at the London Fashion week that season; and from the recent campaign we can see that she can certainly pull of a great pic even when she's on the verge of fainting!

Burberry this season has, as always, produced a range of typically British classic style, but with a new edge to it. It's classy, it's cool, and it's hot. And their campaign photos look just as good, shot by the talented Mario Testino.

This warm women's hat is a popular accessory this season in Burberry's collection, it looks cool and it keeps you from freezing in the winter monthes. But what I really love in this picture is the womenswear coat, which has a beautiful and elegant shape, colour, and I love the buttons on the upper body which look so perfect. I am also loving the waterproof men's boots- which not only look cool....but believe me are NECESSARY for the wet winter monthes where puddles seem to become lakes in city streets, and country roads flood with rainwater!

As usual, Burberry creat a collection of slick suits and terrfic matching trenches.

A closer detail on the winter coat I'm currently crushing on. I'd also like to take a look at the model's face here....I'm loving the dark and powerful eyebrows- they give a great and sexy impact. And the way the light catches her eyes is simply stunning. and P.S...I want this eye make-up!

Again the famous hat- must be the stylist's favourite piece of the collection...and more warm winter coats with fabulous shapes and cuts. I'm especially struck by the green poncho-type coat, and the red belted coat next to it.

What catches my eye here most (APART from the two model's incredibly intense and beautiful facial expressions) is the cuffs on this womenswear jumper. I love it; such a simple idea which really makes it special.
